Interpreter for Manassas Free Clinic

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE REMOTELY!

Are you looking to give back to the community and serve people from many different walks of life? Help serve those that are uninsured/under insured in Manassas and Manassas Park area and volunteer as an interpreter! Interpreters are needed to participate on telemedicine Zoom calls. Service is 100% remote and online.

2 hour to 4 hour volunteer shifts.
Spanish speakers are needed.
Training will be provided.

Other Requirements: All volunteers must complete the clinic application and interview, pass a background check, complete HIPAA privacy training or related documentation, and complete Catholic Charities medical ethics training. All volunteers must adhere to CCDA's confidentiality policies and best-practices. Must be 18 years or older.

Farm Gleaners (picking vegetables)

Overview //

Gleaning is the traditional biblical practice of gathering crops that would otherwise be left in the fields to rot, or be plowed under after harvest. Gleaners are people of all ages who want to give of themselves to help feed the hungry. Thousands of pounds of food produce are salvaged each year and provided to our parntering pantries so that clients may receive fresh, local healthy produce at no cost to them.

As Catholic Charities continues to serve the poor and vulnerable during this pandemic, you can help by safely assembling care packages for those in need from the safety of your home. With food donations significantly down, we have an urgent need for your help with feeding the hungry. Please consider making Ready-to-Eat Meal Kits by clicking here.
