Program Coordinator for the Welcome Home Re-entry Program
Work with staff and other volunteers to support those leaving jail. We provide our returning citizens with housing and mentoring in an effort to prevent them going back to jail and to successfully re-intergate into the community. This is an emerging program. We need help working with the jails to place and accept new clients and match with interns; to coordinate communication and training with the mentors and to conduct awareness events so the community can learn about the challenges of being incarcerated and then getting back on their feet. Serve those who without us, would have no one.
