Alumni Magazine Class Reporter

Description

Class reporters collect news and updates about their classmates and compile those announcements into a 650-word class notes column to be published in the William & Mary Alumni Magazine.

We are currently seeking reporters for the classes below. If you belong to another class that does not have a current opening, your application will be saved to a waiting list in case a position becomes available.

Life After William & Mary Instagram Spotlight

Description

Approximately once a month the Alumni Association features an alumnus/a on its official Instagram account by letting them post photos and captions in their own words about their W&M experience and current 'life after W&M.'

Tribe Heralds

Description

Tribe Heralds help generate positive energy about William & Mary online. The purpose of this volunteer role is to extend William & Mary's reach across multiple social networking platforms by utilizing the volunteers' personal online communities. Heralds will be provided with content which they can copy directly to their social media platforms on a monthly basis or tweak to fit their own voice and audience.

Tribe@Work Leader

Description

Tribe@Work is an initiative designed to bring together William & Mary alumni within a workplace and uncover the powerful connection between career and alma mater.

Leaders within the workplace will volunteer to serve as liaisons between their colleagues and the Office of Alumni Career Management and Professional Networks. Their job is to initiate effective communication, facilitate programming that fits their workplace needs, and to promote the institutional goals of William & Mary.
