After School Play-Spring Coach Mentor

Brookside Community Play runs an afterschool program focused on helping kids overcome trauma through the power of play. Coach-Mentors are needed to work individually and in small group settings with children in K-6th grade. You'll participate in activities like basketball, gardening, and lego build. The Spring Session runs April 15th through May 23rd. The program runs Monday-Thursday from 4:30-6:00pm. Volunteers need to be available for at least one day per week throughout the entire session.

Play Academy Tutor

Tutors will assist middle and high school students with homework, study skills, and educational enrichment. Tutoring takes place Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30pm throughout the school year. Tutors are asked to serve on a weekly basis.

Academy volunteers will spend time getting to know students and helping staff implement programming. The Academy takes place Monday-Thursday from 4:00-5:30 pm. Volunteers are asked to serve on a weekly basis.
